The life of J. K. Rowling

Biography
                                                               Jo as a child
Joanne Kathleen Rowling was born in July 31st, 1965, in Yate, Glouscestershire, England (near Bristol). She is the oldest daughter of Peter James Rowling and Anne Volant Rowling, which is half-French and half-Scottish. She has a younger sister, Dianne Rowling.

Since she was a kid, Joanne used to write fantasy stories (like Harry Potter but way more smaller), and used to read them to her sister. She used to love writing and still does!
Everybody knows her because of the series of books she wrote, the Harry Potter series (seven books). But few people know that, before writing the books, she was passing through a difficult time.

After finishing the Univertsity of Exeter (situated in Exeter), Rowling went to Porto, in Portugal, to teach English as a foreign language. There, in 1992, she married Jorge Arantes, a Portuguese television jornalist. One year later, they had a child called Jessica Isabel Rowling Arantes, and months after she was born, Joanne and Jorge decided to divorce.
After divorcing, Joanne came back to the UK. Three years before coming back, her mother died and when she got back from Portugal with her daughter, her dad had married once again. She decided to live with her sister Dianne, who had married too, in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Months later, she moved to an apartament with her daughter still in Edinburgh, living with the government's help, which made her feel embarrassed. Jorge Arantes was far away right now.
